Taking the anxiety out of everyday crypto transactions.
For most people, using crypto still feels like handling hazardous materials: one mistyped address character or confusing slippage setting can lose funds permanently. As a product engineer on BitQora, my job was to build wallet and swap interfaces that provide total clarity at every step, turning complicated blockchain interactions into calm, predictable user flows.

01 / The challenge
What the product needed.
Decentralized protocols are asynchronous and full of edge cases—pending mempool states, fluctuating network gas, failed swaps, and multi-token balance changes. The challenge was building an interface that stays responsive and transparent without overwhelming non-technical users with raw blockchain data.
02 / My contribution
How I approached it.
01
Clear transaction previews & safety checks
I built confirmation modals that translate raw hex parameters into plain English: exact amounts leaving the wallet, estimated network fees in fiat, price impact, and the minimum tokens guaranteed on swap before signing.
02
Responsive multi-asset balance tracking
Engineered real-time token tracking views that poll balances efficiently, display portfolio changes clearly, and cache historical values so the UI doesn’t stutter on slower mobile network connections.
03
Transparent decentralized swap interface
Implemented the swap widget with instant route calculations, configurable slippage tolerance, and explicit status tracking for approved, pending, and confirmed transactions.

BitQora proves that decentralized finance does not have to feel like an airplane cockpit. The live web platform gives users complete custody over their assets with an interface that feels as polished and dependable as modern consumer fintech.
